JOIN THE CAMPAIGN

Your participation will help save Albert Douglas from spending the rest of his life in prison.

The UAE and UK governments need to know that we will not allow this to happen.  Enough is enough.  British citizens will not tolerate another arbitrary detention and will not tolerate violence and inhumane treatment.

Your voice is important.  Sign the petition.  Do not stop talking about Albert Douglas.  Write to business and investment groups, to commercial entities with interests in Dubai.  Write to your local MP and keep using the hashtags.

Make a 20 second video saying that you support Albert and want this grandfather home before it's too late!  Share your video with albert@detainedindubai.org and influence change.

We can not have another Lee Bradley Brown death in Dubai police custody.  We can not have our British government turning a blind eye to injustice and human rights abuses.

We can not allow the British government to be bought off by the rich gulf state.  Citizens must be protected by their government.

OUTRAGEOUS DUBAI TREATMENT
Albert Douglas has been denied his heart medication since his arrest in February.
Albert was beaten for asking for his medication.  This comes after a Brit was killed in police custody

MP's have called for sanctions and travel warnings after Albert's testimony was released
CONTACT NEWS AND MEDIA

Contact your local news, radio and broadcast outlets.  Tell them that you want to see them cover the Albert Douglas travesty.  Your contribution can help!  Point them to this website and Detained in Dubai.

Journalists need to be talking about the upcoming Dubai Expo and whether British businesses, politicians and the media should be supporting such a promotional event, while the UAE continues to lock up and abuse investors and expats.

MAKE A SUPPORTIVE VIDEO

If you support human rights and want to help Albert be freed.  Make a short video saying your name, where you are from and call for Dubai to #FreeAlbert.  Send it to albert@detainedindubai.org
